MANILA - Bank of the Philippine Islands said Thursday its net income grew 21 percent in 2016 as corporate clients drove loan growth.

The Ayala-led lender said it posted net income of P22.05 billion last year. Total revenues grew 12.1 percent to P66.55 billion.
