MANILA – San Miguel Corp. said Tuesday it “shortlisted” two Asian companies for a possible renewable energy venture, as it sought to diversify its power portfolio.

“We are challenging ourselves to be able operate in the most environmentally responsible manner while taking into consideration energy security and affordability to the consumers,” Ang said in a statement.
