Baby-proofing the outdoors with Safety 1st

* Bring a stroller

I was told that even on trips, I should stick to Nyke’s normal nap schedule. So, it’s best to bring a stroller so my husband Lloyd and I can coordinate going out for a walk around the area while she naps. * Invest in a good car seat

We want to avoid small bumps and bruises, so it’s really recommended that infants should be safely buckled in a rear-facing car seat. As Nyke gets bigger, then we can use a forward-facing car seat. * Use a carrier.

Of course even if we’re with our baby, we still want to enjoy our vacation as a family. I think having a carrier is really helpful, if you want to give pushing a stroller a rest, because you get to move freely and enjoy your activities while still having your baby close to you.
