MANILA, Philippines - Leading business process outsourcing company Concentrix Philippines staged its first fun run around the Tiendesitas compound in Pasig City not just to engage its members in health and fitness, but also to strengthen its corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.

The run was attended by more than 1,000 Concentrix staff based in Metro Manila participating in three categories (1K, 3K, and 5K). The runners gathered at the finish line for the awarding of prizes and the turnover of the event’s proceeds to the three CSR beneficiaries -- Hands On Manila, Childhope Philippines and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

Concentrix also staged simultaneous fun runs in its provincial sites in Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Cebu and Naga.

Almost 2,000 Concentrix staff attended the nationwide event, with snippets of each run aired on Facebook Live.

A run for a cause

The fun run kicked off Concentrix’s campaign to promote a healthy lifestyle, keeping its staff fit and always on the go. The run was not only an active way to get Concentrix staff together, but it was also for a good cause. Helping children, promoting education, and caring for our environment are the top advocacies of the chosen NGOs. These are the three pillars that Concentrix wants to support long-term.

Activities such as this make Concentrix agents more holistic individuals who are out to make a difference in whatever way they can.
