MANILA - Fair weather allowed an ABS-CBN News crew to take an aerial shot of Bambang town in Nueva Vizcaya which was among the places hit by typhoon Ompong over the weekend.

While there were no apparent damage seen on the video, some farmlands were filled with water, a couple of days after heavy rains fell over Luzon.

Office of Civil Defense chief Ricardo Jalad earlier reported 53 deaths due to Ompong, citing data from the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.
