The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority this week will start using drones for traffic management, clearing operations and flood control, an official said Tuesday.

Twelve enforcers have completed a training course for operating the drones, which were donated by an organization, MMDA general manager Jojo Garcia told radio DZMM,

The drones, he said, will allow officers to monitor 5 to 8 streets at once, and will speed up the deployment of enforcers to choke points.
