MANILA - The Department of Social Welfare and Development aims to deliver the second tranche of cash aid to poor families by end of May, its spokesperson said Tuesday.

The distribution can already begin as government will employ electronic means for the subsidy system, Malacañang said Monday.

The second round of subsidies will include 5 million more poor families and 12 million others who benefited from the first tranche, Malacañang said.
