Political dynasties come and go, but some, like the Estradas of San Juan got to stay on much longer. For nearly half a century, they ruled the city, developing it into one of the most progressive in the country, but also keeping political power to themselves.

But last week, save for a lone councilor, the Estradas were wiped out in the midterm elections -- Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada lost to his former vice mayor, his sons Jinggoy and JV defeated in the senatorial race. In this episode of Facts First, Christian Esguerra discusses the fall of this political dynasty.
