Philippine National Police spokesman Bernard Banac is okay and is now being attended to by doctors after figuring in a helicopter crash in Laguna Thursday morning.

Banac was on the 2-year old Bell 429 chopper with PNP chief Archie Gamboa, Major Generals Jovic Ramos and Mariel Magaway, his comptroller ship and intelligence heads, respectively; an aide, a technician and 2 pilots, the PNP Public Information Office said.
