Comedian Ethel Gabison, known more popularly as Ethel Booba, was among those who supported Miss Universe Philippines Maxine Medina in Monday's pageant, and she took to social media to share her answers to the question posed to Medina during the Q&A.

Host Steve Harvey asked Medina: “What is the most significant change you’ve seen in the world in the last 10 years?”

Despite having an interpreter, Medina chose to answer the question in English.

"The last 10 years of being here in the world is that I saw all the people being in one event like this in Miss Universe, and it's something big to us that we are one, as one nation, we are all together," she answered.

Medina's decision also gave birth to the hashtag #InterpreterZoned, a play on the word "friendzoned" often used on social media.
