10 finalists for BMPM Digitales 2019

With the theme “Gusto Ko Tama: Fighting Disinformation in Social Media,” the contest was opened to college students nationwide.

They were invited to submit documentaries filmed and edited using only their mobile phones.

“We have seen the creativity of the youth today in using their mobile phones to express themselves and connect with a wide audience. ‘Digitales’ is another avenue for them to put this creativity to good use and actually help in educating other people about fake news and how to make social media a safe space for everyone,” said BMPM Head Rowena Paraan.

Here are the 10 finalists in no particular order:

1. “Kitang Kita. Kita Mo Ba?”
San Sebastian College – Recoletos, Manila
