MANILA -- Two members of the Alas Pilipinas women's national volleyball team copped individual awards after the first leg of the SEA V-League.

The pair joined four other Filipino players to win individual honors in the regional tournament: Alyssa Solomon (Best Opposite, Leg 2 2023); Kyla Atienza (Best Libero, 2022); Dawn Catindig (Best Libero, Leg 2 2019); and Majoy Baron (Best Middle Blocker, Legs 1 and 2 2019).

Thailand won the gold in the first leg after beating Vietnam in five sets. Their star, Chatchu-on Moksri, earned Most Valuable Player honors as well as the Best Outside Hitter award along with teammate Ajcharaporn Kongyot.
