MANILA – Collegiate player Mason Amos has broken his silence regarding his departure from the Ateneo Blue Eagles to the De La Salle Green Archers and said sorry for the actions he called "unacceptable and not called for."

"It’s been a tough week with a decision I made due to my reasons. However my actions were unacceptable and not called for," Amos said Friday on X (formerly Twitter).

The 19-year-old forward will be joining the likes of Kean Baclaan and Jacob Cortez in the Green Archers nest starting Season 88.

Amos dedicated his apology to his former teammates, coaches, the community and the alumni.

"However I will apologize for not being considerate. To my teammates, coaches, the community and the alumni I am sorry for my actions and I will own up to a mistake that could’ve been handled better. I don’t expect forgiveness but I just hope for understanding," he added.
