After around a year in the professional Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene in Cambodia, Michael "MPTheKing" Endino confirms he will be playing pro again in the Philippines.

"I'm planning to go back to the Philippines... If there is an offer in the Philippines, I would gladly take it," MPTheKing said in a post-match press conference, moments after being eliminated by Falcons AP Bren during the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

After limited playing time back home, MPTheKing signed with SeeYouSoon more than a year ago, leading the Cambodian powerhouse to two local titles and two straight international tournament appearances.

The 20-year-old became an integral presence to SeeYouSoon's success, leading the Khmer squad to playoffs appearances in the MLBB Mid-Season Cup (MSC 2024) held in Riyadh and in the Philippines-hosted M5 World Championships.

MPTheKing saw his breakthrough in the said tournament, as the team's drafter and coach after Chhim "CatGod" Vitou and Sam "PARAGON" Sophanny were both suspended for practically the entire MSC for allegedly forcing an unnecessary draft remake, which the Cambodian squad claimed was due to a bug.

SeeYouSoon enjoyed a Cinderella run which saw them boot Indonesia's FNATIC Onic Esports, the defending MSC champions, off the tournament.

SeeYouSoon will end their campaign at 5th to 6th place, with a $100,000 cash prize.
