MANILA -- The Creamline Cool Smashers are still the queens of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.

Creamline annexed its eighth PVL championship on Sunday, holding off sister team Choco Mucho in a thrilling five-set war in Game 2 of the All-Filipino Conference Finals at the Araneta Coliseum.

A crowd of over 23,000 fans watched as the Cool Smashers overhauled a one-set deficit en route to a 20-25, 25-20, 22-25, 25-22, 15-11 triumph.
