Savi Davison and company suffered two crucial losses — the first dealt by Chery Tiggo, and another one handed by sister team Cignal on Saturday at the Santa Rosa Sports Complex — which put them three points behind the now-fourth seed Crossovers.

The High Speed Hitters are still mathematically in contention for a semis seat, but Eya Laure's squad is currently on pace to take the last one, as their next opponents, also-ran Galeries Tower Highrisers, only have three wins to show after 10 games.

"I think so close at the end of the season, you just have to kind of look forward to the next one. We had two really tough losses. We [had] really good energy. Unfortunately, it just went another way to the other team," Davison said.

"So, we’re really looking forward to Creamline. We just gotta come back. We have practice this week, work hard, heads high, good energy, and kind of put [the loss] behind us. So hopefully we have a good week of practice leading up to Creamline, and we take the game from them, hopefully."

She put up 29 points in the loss against Cignal. During their Chery Tiggo match on April 16, it was only the Filipina-Canadian ace who put up double-digit scoring for PLDT with 22 points.

"I think we’re just kind of looking for some people to step up. There’s some gaps in our game, we have a couple of new additions, but you know, at the end of the day, everybody needs to be on point," she said.
