MANILA – We might not have yet seen the best of three-time PVL Most Valuable Player (MVP) Tots Carlos.

After notching a PVL-best 31 points anchored on 30 attacks and an ace against the Akari Chargers on Thursday, Carlos said she is still willing to learn and improve her gameplay.

"Honestly, gusto ko pang matuto pa," the University of the Philippines (UP) standout said after Creamline's 25-22, 21-25, 25-22, 25-19 victory against the Chargers. "Hindi lang naman dumadaan lang 'yung games. Personally, may mga natutunan din naman ako sa mga ganitong sitwasyon, ano'ng gagawin."

Carlos took charge as the defending champions took the driver's seat in set 3 and get a pivotal 2-1 lead in the match.

Carlos also had an efficient night after hitting 55 percent of her hit attempts.

However, the multi-awarded 25-year-old volleyball player herself could not believe the level she is currently playing.

"'Yung nilalaro ko ngayon, even me, 'di ako makapaniwala," the last AFC's Finals MVP said.

But the power hitter quickly gave credit to her teammates and coaches after their triumph against the Chargers.

"Pero 'yun nga, dahil nga sa mga tulong ng mga coaches, kasi grabe talaga 'yung suporta ng mga teammates ko saka ng mga coaches, na walang pressure, training lang lagi, so ako naman, lagi lang ako--gusto ko lang natututo ako palagi sa lahat ng games."

What more can we expect from Carlos? She said she is always ready to contribute as the Cool Smashers try to retain the PVL crown.

"So 'yun, ready lang naman kami palagi eh. Wala namang kaso sa amin kung sino'ng nakaka-score, sino'ng hindi. Tulong-tulong 'yan."

The UP product had a 19-point outing against Farm Fresh on Saturday before their bout against Akari.
