MANILA - The next Valorant: Champions tournament will be held in Seoul, South Korea, the first time it will be held in Asia.

Riot Games announced this on their social media platforms, as the tournament circuit for VCT starts this Saturday.

Valorant Champions is the crowning event of the world's best Valorant teams.

This will be the second year in a row that South Korea will be hosting a Riot Games sanctioned competition after the League of Legends World Championships was held last year in Seoul and Busan.

All-Pinoy squad Team Secret is vying to qualify for Champions through the regional-specific VCT Pacific competition, also held in the South Korean capital.

Teams will have to gather enough championship points to qualify for the world championship, and boost their chances should they qualify through Valorant Masters in Madrid and in Shanghai.

The VCT Pacific kick-off starts this weekend, with Team Secret going up against Talon Esports tomorrow.
