MANILA—The Philippines took home silver and bronze medals in Tekken 7 in the Southeast Asian Games at FilOil Flying V Center on Tuesday.

Alexandre “AK” Laverez lost to Thailand’s Nopparut “Book” Hempamorn in the final to take the silver.

Albar got the bronze after losing to Laverez in the lower bracket finals.

Tekken 7 was one of four titles projected to get gold for the Philippines, after the Filipino entries in Hearthstone and Arena of Valor were eliminated.

Overall, the Philippines won 3 gold medals in esports, courtesy of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Starcraft II, and DoTA 2.
