When the Philippines had a chance to add a senior member to their under-22 men's national football team, they picked Stephan Schrock.
That decision paid off handsomely when the seniors-team captain converted a brilliant corner that turned out to be the winning goal against Malaysia in the SEA Games on Friday.
For the first time in the tournament, the Azkals finally tasted the lead, thanks to Shrock.
His shot was deflected by Malaysian keeper Muhammad Haziq Nadzli but it bounced off teammate Muhammad Danial Amier Norisham's back and straight into the goal.
