Stephan Schröck and Amani Aguinaldo are expected to bring experience to the Philippines men's national football team that will compete in the Southeast Asian Games next week.

The senior players will join a squad made up mostly of under-22 names, led by 2-time UAAP MVP Jarvey Gayoso of Ateneo de Manila University.

Rules permit competing teams to field two players older than 22.

"It's a good collection of players. Young, dynamic, very active, with good football careers," national-team manager Dan Palami said.

The 20-man lineup, posted on the Azkals' official Twitter account on Thursday, also has former and current Azkals call-ups Justin Baas, Marco Casambre, Dylan de Bruycker, Yrick Gallantes and Edison Suerti.

Also on the team are incoming Far Eastern University standout Pocholo Bugas, University of the East's Mar Diano, and the San Beda University trio of Michael Asong, Jerome Marzan and JR Suba.

Besides Asong, Casambre, Diano, Marzan, Suba and Suerti, those called up who were also part of the under-22 team that played in the Philippines Football League's Copa tournament are Jordan Jarvis, Finn McDaniel and Troy Limbo.

Dennis Chung, Christian Rontini, Chima Uzoka, and Anthony Pinthus, who captained for the national team in the Copa, are on the lineup, too.

Meanwhile, the reserves are: Ateneo's AJ Arcilla, University of the Philippines' JB Borlongan, National University's Ivan Ouano, and La Salle's Jovan Marfiga, Fritz Brigoli, and Dean Ebarle.

"For those who are [playing] here, they're stalwarts in the UAAP and the NCAA, then for those who are coming from outside, they're actually professional players from different clubs," Palami said.

"We hope to make the Philippines proud in this tournament."

The Azkals' SEA Games campaign begins on Monday, Nov. 25, against Cambodia at Rizal Memorial Football Stadium in Manila.
