MANILA, Philippines — University of Santo Tomas team captain Louie Vigil said he harbors no ill will toward head coach Boy Sablan after he was benched for the entirety of the first half of their UAAP Season 79 game against Adamson on Wednesday.

Vigil, along with Marvin Lee, Renzo Subido and Kent Lao rode the pine during the first half, in what Sablan later described as a disciplinary action. They started the second half, but couldn't stop UST losing 76-61 and falling 3-10.

Lee and Subido were admittedly frustrated at not being able to play in the first half but they were likewise quick to accept responsibility.
