MANILA, Philippines -- San Beda University is through to the finals of the NCAA Season 95 juniors basketball tournament, after outlasting La Salle Greenhills, 82-79, in the Final 4, Tuesday at the Cuneta Astrodome.

Meanwhile, the third-seeded San Sebastian College lived to fight another day after taking down second-seeded Lyceum of the Philippines Unioversity, 84-75.

Yukien Andrada shown for San Beda, scoring 13 of his team-high 23 points in the final quarter to power the top-seeded Red Cubs to the best-of-3 finals. He also had 10 rebounds, as one of three San Beda players with double-doubles.

Rhayyan Amsali (12 points, 17 rebounds) and Justin Sanchez (10 points, 17 rebounds) stepped up for the Red Cubs as well as they made it back to the finals for the first time since Season 92.

The Greenies, who needed to beat Arellano University in a playoff for the last Final 4 berth, were led by JC Macalalag's 23 points.

The Staglets forced a do-or-die for the other finals berth after a comfortable victory over the No. 2 Junior Pirates. It took a balanced effort for San Sebastian, with Milo Janao (15 points), Nikko Aguilar (15), Josel Barroga (12) and Kim Bulasa (10) taking turns in carrying the offensive load.

Lyceum and San Sebastian play again on Friday to determine who takes on San Beda in the best-of-3 juniors finals.

John Barba had 24 points while McLaude Guadana contributed 12 markers for the Pirates.

CSB-LSGH 79 -- Macalalag 23, Manansala 18, Palencia 13, Quiambao 10, Reyes 8, Arguelles 4, Estil 2, Panlilio 1, Arciaga 0, Dimaunahan 0, Torrijos 0.

Quarter scores: 20-15, 35-31, 59-55, 82-79.

SAN SEBASTIAN 84 -- Janao 15, Aguilar 15, Barroga 12, Bulasa 10, Perez 7, Darbin 7, Brizo 7, Are 5, Concha 4, Una 2, Lustina 0.

LYCEUM 75 -- Barba 24, Guadana 12, Omandac 9, Montano 8, Garro 6, Santos 6, Gamlanga 3, Caringal 3, Garing 2, Caduyac 2, Panganiban 0, Dumon 0, Ragasa 0, Gudmalin 0, Dejelo 0.

Quarter scores: 18-13, 42-33, 64-46, 85-74.
