A possible opponent of world welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao was seriously hurt in a car crash in Dallas on Thursday.

American Errol Spence Jr., who holds the WBC and IBF welterweight crowns, was injured after crashing his Ferrari on Riverfront Boulevard, according to FOX News.

Spence, who was not wearing his seat belt, was reportedly thrown out of the car.

He was taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Spence just recently defeated Pacquiao's former training partner, Shawn Porter, to unify the WBC and IBF titles.
