MANILA, Philippines – TNT import Glen Rice Jr. was handed a heavy fine after his stunning ejection from Game 4 of their PBA Governors' Cup semifinals series against the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings on Sunday.

Late in the first quarter of Game 4, Rice shockingly shoved Ginebra rookie Kevin Ferrer to the court and threw the ball at him, causing the game officials to slap him with a flagrant foul and a technical foul.

The combined infractions led to Rice's ejection from the game.

Without him, TNT squandered a double-digit lead and lost, 105-115, to allow the Gin Kings to head back to the PBA Governors' Cup Finals.

A day later, the PBA announced that Rice was fined P26,000 for a series of transgressions – the flagrant foul, the technical foul, use of a dirty finger, and disrespecting team and league officials.

Rice did not bother to finish TNT's game against Ginebra, leaving the Big Dome shortly after he was ejected.
