MANILA, Philippines – The Meralco Bolts on Tuesday announced that forward Kelly Nabong has been suspended indefinitely, after he got into an argument with assistant coach Jimmy Alapag in the sidelines of their game against Star last Sunday.

"Kelly Nabong is suspended indefinitely for conduct unbecoming of a PBA player and for conduct detrimental to the team," Meralco said in a statement.

Nabong was seen with his jersey ripped on the Meralco bench, while the Bolts were going on an amazing fourth-quarter rally against the Hotshots in Game 1 of their PBA Governors' Cup semifinals series.

It was later reported that he destroyed the door of their dugout at the Alonte Sports Complex in Biñan, Laguna.

Nabong was scoreless in over seven minutes of action in Meralco's 72-66 victory. The Bolts play again on Tuesday evening in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
