Golden State Warriors star playmaker Stephen Curry will attend the opening ceremonies of the UAAP at Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday "to inspire UAAP athletes and sports fans," host school National University announced Thursday.

Curry will be in Manila as part of his tour of Asian countries that includes Japan and China, to promote his new signature sneakers.

This will be the two-time NBA MVP's second visit to the country after his successful tour back in 2015.
