Jerwin Ancajas’ sixth title defense scheduled on September 29 will move to a much bigger stage.

Initially slated to take place at Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif., Ancajas' world junior bantamweight title defense will now take place at the 20,000-seater Oracle Arena in Oakland, home of the Golden State Warriors.

There, he will stake his crown against Mexico's Alejandro Santiago in the co-main event of a card promoted by Top Rank Inc.

“There is a large Filipino community in Northern California, so I expect an incredible atmosphere inside the Oracle Arena,” Ancajas said said in Top Rank's website.

Ancajas also thanked his handlers for arranging the bout, which will be his third in the US.

Ancajas won the world junior bantamweight crown in September 2016, when he knocked down McJoe Arroyo in the eighth round en route to a unanimous decision victory.

In his most recent fight last May in Fresno,, Ancajas defeated countryman Jonas Sultan via unanimous decision in the first all-Filipino world title bout since 1925.
