Lyceum of the Philippines University still has the number of TY Tang-coached College of St. Benilde - even now in the NCAA 95 Men's Basketball Tournament.

With Jaycee Marcelino captaining the wrecking crew, the Pirates powered their way right through the Blazers, 74-71, Friday at Filoil Flying V Centre.

After a tight first half, Marcelino just turned it on in the third quarter, propelling his side to a 68-48 edge.

The Taft-based team, however, would battle back to within three inside the final minute.

That was the closest CSB could come, though, as the LPU defense stood strong from that point and allowed no more makes from the field.
