Volleyball games at this year's 2019 Southeast Asian Games will be played at Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila, not PhilSports Arena in Pasig as previously announced.

According to Ramon Suzara, chief operating officer of the Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (Phisgoc), gymnastics events will switch venues with volleyball because gymnastics "really needs a big space."

Taekwondo and weightlifting, supposed to be held at Ninoy Aquino Stadium, will move to nearby Rizal Memorial Coliseum, “because this is based on the technical specifications of the fields of play,” Suzara added.

Other changes in game venues include obstacle course sports and petanque, which are both originally reserved at the Clark Global City.
