PBA: Cyrus Baguio shipped to NLEX, reunites with Guiao

NLEX has secured the services of Phoenix’s Cyrus Baguio following a trade that involved two other current players.
According to the PBA’s official website, NLEX and GlobalPort first reached an agreement to swap Mac Baracael and Dylan Ababou, both former Gilas Pilipinas players.
NLEX then traded Ababou and a 2020 second-round pick to Phoenix to acquire Baguio.
This led to a reunion between Baguio and NLEX coach Yeng Guiao. The two worked together at Red Bull before Baguio moved to Burger King, Barangay Ginebra, Alaska and Phoenix.

The trade is the latest in a series of acquisitions by NLEX, which also saw Larry Fonacier and JR Quiñahan moving to Guiao's squad.
NLEX sports a 5-1 record in the current Governors' Cup, its best start since Guiao took over in the offseason.
