Rain or Shine’s Maverick Ahanmisi proved to be the fastest in the PBA All-Star Manila Obstacle Challenge in this year’s competition at the Araneta Coliseum.

Ahanmisi blazed his way to 32.95 seconds in the final round to edge his competitors.

“It feels great man, it’s a blessing to win the Obstacle Challenge and just be part of the All-Star Weekend in my first year,” said the sophomore point guard in the PBA website.

Coming in at second was Carlo Lastimosa of Blackwater. Lastimosa timed in at 34.11 seconds, to beat Paolo Taha and Mark Cruz.

Taha and Cruz posted times of 46.11 and 36.96 seconds, respectively.

2014 champion Mark Barroca of Star clocked in at 45.23 seconds, while Ginebra’s Scottie Thompson was the “slowest” with 49.38 seconds.

Defending champion Jeric Fortuna was booted out this year after losing to Lastimosa in the preliminary round.
