MANILA, Philippines – The Philippine women's national football team displayed its might in a 11-0 victory over visiting Macau, in a friendly match held at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona, Cavite last Saturday.

The home side got things started early, as Quinley Quezada found the back of the net just six minutes into the match. Alesa Dolino scored five minutes later to make it 2-0 for the Philippines.

The Filipinas took a 5-0 lead into the half, courtesy of another goal from Quezada in the 31st minute, a Camille Rodriguez goal in the 34th, and a score from Alisha del Campo in the 44th.

Del Campo completed a hat-trick by scoring in the 48th and 49th minute. Skipper Patrice Impelido added to the tally in the 57th, before Hali Long converted a penalty in the 68th.

Mea Bernal (74') and Del Campo (89') completed the dominant triumph for the Filipinas.

The friendly is part of the national team's preparation for the upcoming 2019 AFF Women's Championship, which will be held in Chonburi, Thailand from August 15 to 27, as well as the 30th Southeast Asian Games later this year.

"The friendly is a good opportunity for the coaching staff to see the results of the team’s training camp in preparation for both the AFF Women’s Championship 2019 and 30th Southeast Asian Games," PFF general-secretary Atty. Edwin Gastanes said ahead of the friendly.
