The Season 79 champions crushed French side Universite de Lyon, 93-74, on Sunday to complete a five-game sweep of the competition.

Reigning UAAP Most Valuable Player Ben Mbala led the way for La Salle with 26 points and 13 rebounds, while reigning Rookie of the Year Aljun Melecio added 19 markers.

La Salle's campaign in the BLIA Cup included a 110-103 victory over the host country's Chie Hsin University on Tuesday, followed by an 84-81 win over Vanguard University.
