MANILA, Philippines – After two postponements, Arellano University will finally get a chance to show what it is capable of when the Chiefs host the Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Generals on Thursday at the Arellano Gym in Legarda, Manila.

It will be the Chiefs' first game of the NCAA Season 94 men's basketball tournament, after their season debut was postponed twice. Their games against San Beda University on July 10 and University of Perpetual Help on July 17 were both called off due to inclement weather.

The Chiefs are just hoping that their 4 p.m. duel with the Generals at their home court will push through as scheduled.

However, Codiñera also lamented their inability to practice over the past couple of days because of poor weather conditions.

Arellano will be playing without dynamic point guard Kent Salado, who suffered a season-ending injury earlier this year.
