Filipino basketball star Kobe Paras has confirmed reports that he has already agreed to join Creighton University.

He made the announcement through The Filipino Channel’s Balitang America, weeks after he was forced to withdraw from the University of California, Los Angeles (ULCA).

“I'm happy to announce that I'll be attending Creighton University,” said the 6-foot-6 Paras, the son of PBA legend Benjie Paras.

He will have four years of eligibility with the Creighton Bluejays.

“It was crazy how I saw that there's not just one school out there for me. There are a lot of schools that I could choose but I found the perfect fit.”

Paras earlier committed himself to play for the UCLA Bruins but forced to withdraw after he reportedly failed to meet the university’s academic conditions.
