What’s next for Manny Pacquiao after defeating Lucas Matthysse in dominant fashion?

Boxing analyst and fight commentator Dennis Principe said the 39-year-old prizefighting senator is still good for up to 3 fights and there are 3 opponents that Pacquiao could choose.

“The ideal opponents para kay Manny ngayon ay low risk pero magandang kita,” Principe said.

With that in mind, Pacquiao could pursue a bout against his former training partner and ex-champion Amir Khan, who has a very big fan base in the United Kingdom.

Another choice is a rematch against Jeff Horn of Australia.

“For me kahit controversial ang nangyari kay Jeff Horn I really thought he won that fight and a rematch would make it easier for Manny to convince the judge na kaya niya si Jeff Horn,” he said.

The third would be rising boxing superstar Vasyl Lomachenko, the WBA Super and Ring magazine lightweight champion.

“Siya na mismo ang nagbanggit na ang gusto nyang kalaban si Vasyl Lomachenko,” said Principe.

“But really it's all up to Manny,” he added. “Manny Pacquiao has earned the right to decide who his next opponent would be, kelan gagawin, saan because of his impressive victory over Matthysse.”
