MANILA – Head coach Jerry Yee has parted ways with the University of the Philippines (UP) Lady Maroons Saturday after taking the team's helm for four seasons of the UAAP.

In a Facebook post, Yee enumerated the eliminations’ win-loss records the Lady Maroons held during his term as head coach, and thanked the state university.

Yee moved to UP and took the steering wheel in 2013, when the team finished 7th in the league with a dismal 3-11 card.

The Lady Maroons improved in Yee’s second season but still missed the Final Four bus with a 5-9 win-loss record, enough for sixth place.

UP finally made the Final Four in Season 78 with an 8-6 record, even beating then defending champions Ateneo Lady Eagles once in the elimination round. The team took the fourth spot.

However, the Lady Maroons found themselves outside the semifinals anew in Season 79 with a 7-7 record, settling for a fifth-place finish.

Yee was also behind the recruitment of Diana Carlos and Isa Molde to the Diliman-based crew.
