MANILA, Philippines -- Asian Games gold medalist Margielyn Didal remains the gold standard when it comes to skateboarding in the Philippines.

This, after she ruled the inaugural National Skateboarding Championship, held Saturday in Santa Rosa, Laguna.

Didal was the runaway winner in the women's street finals with a score of 28.73 points. This was the same event that she dominated in the Asian Games last year, for which she won the Philippines' fourth gold medal.

Princess Jaramillo copped the silver medal with 24.57 points, while Cindy Serna claimed the bronze with 22.73 points.
