Yvan Ludovice led Davao Occidental Cocolife's balanced attack, as the Tigers overcame the Caloocan Supremos 76-69 in the Maharalika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Lakan Cup at MARIST School Gymnasium in Marikina on Friday.

Ludovice finished with 13 points and was ably backed up by Bonbon Custodio and Billy Robles who combined for 20 points.

After trailing Caloocan in the first half 34-31 Davao sprang to life in the third quarter where the Tigers outscored the Supremos 24-14.

The 10-point cushion was enough for Davao to overcome Caloocan's fight back in the payoff period.
