MANILA, Philippines – For most of the NCAA Season 91 tournament, the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde (CSB) Blazers were the Jonathan Grey Show. Now led by a new standout guard, the Blazers look to bounce back.

Season 91 record: 5-13
Season 91 summary: The CSB Blazers were the heartbreak kids of Season 91, losing games that they were tipped to win, squandering leads that could have led them to upset victories, and wasting scoring outbursts from Jonathan Grey.

A 1-5 start to the season – which included a shock loss to Lyceum of the Philippines University – virtually doomed CSB's Final 4 hopes. They managed back-to-back wins only once all season, when they beat San Sebastian College and Lyceum in the second round.

Projection: CSB lost its primary offensive option with Grey, and will now be led by JJ Domingo, who by all accounts is more than ready to take on the leadership role for the Blazers. Last year the Blazers' offense revolved around Grey, but Domingo wants CSB to be more team-oriented this time around.

Domingo, a sophomore guard, simply wants St. CSB to have a better season than they had last year, and that starts with winning games that they are supposed to win. Yet head Coach Gabby Velasco understands that they have a rebuilding team filled with most rookies and sophomores, with only Fil-Am Fons Saavedra as their true veteran presence.

Velasco thus wants the young CSB team to grow together, while at the same time gunning for a good finish in Season 92.
