Terrence Jones came up with another 40-point effort to lead TNT Katropa’s 107-91 domination of Meralco in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at Araneta Coliseum on Saturday.

Jones finished with 49 points and 18 rebounds while helping the Texters gain the solo lead in the standings with a 6-1 record.

Even without injured Jayson Castro the Texters led by as many as 19 points against the Bolts, who struggled to find their footing with replacement reinforcement Jimmie Taylor.

Stepping up in Castro’s absence were Ryan Reyes, Don Trollano and Troy Rosario. Reyes had 19 points, while Trollano and Rosario chipped in 16 and 11, respectively.
