Expansion team Mindoro expects to get a lift with Mac Baracael’s addition to its lineup for the third season of the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL).

According to a story posted on Fox Sports Philippines, Mindoro signed the former Far Eastern University standout who will be bringing his PBA experience to the team. Incidentally, Mindoro carries the moniker Tamaraws, the same as his alma mater.

“We need a veteran to lead the team. He is a perfect fit aside from being a former Tamaraw, he is a versatile player who can play almost all positions,” Tan told Fox Sports Philippines.

Baracael, a 2-time PBA all-star, was part of Alaska’s champion team in the 2013 Commissioner’s Cup. He also played for Barangay Ginebra and Meralco.
