Terrence Jones lived up to his NBA credentials, scoring 41 points and grabbing 14 rebounds to lead TNT past NLEX, 102-87, in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup in Antipolo on Wednesday.

The former Houston Rockets player was held to just 4 points in the first quarter at Ynares Center, but the 18th overall pick in the 2012 NBA Rookie Draft came back strong in the second tallying 19 points.

With Jones carrying the fight, the KaTropa held a 52-39 halftime advantage that ballooned to as high as 25 points.

Anthony Semerad chipped in 11 points, while Kelly Williams had 10 points and 9 rebounds for TNT.

NLEX was paced by Curtis Washington’s 18 points and 16 rebounds, while Poy Erram chipped in 14 and 12.
