The La Salle Dance Company-Street on Saturday claimed the UAAP season 81 streetdance competition title, defeating rival FEU Street Alliance.

The La Salle team returned to the summit thanks to its Queen-inspired routine, that incorporated classics such as "We Will Rock You" and "Another Bites the Dust," to seal a record fourth crown.

FEU, which derailed La Salle's bid for back-to-back championships last year, finished a close second, scoring 85 points, a point and a half short of the winning score of 86.5 points.

This win meant that La Salle has now broken its deadlock with the UP Streetdance Club for the most number of streetdance titles.

Meanwhile, the NU Underdawgs completed this year's top three, leapfrogging the majority of the participating schools as they improved their previous seventh-place finish.

The rest of the results are as follows: UP Streetdance Club (82), UST Prime (79), UE Street Warriors (72.42), The Company of Ateneo Dancers (70.75), and the Adamson Cast (67.45).

In the Juniors Division, the UST Galvanize scored back-to-back titles, scoring 80.1 points.

The next best team was the UE Street Varsity Team with 74.5 points. In next place was the FEU Baby Tamaraws Dance Company with 74.45 points.

The rest of the standings are as follows: NU-Nazareth School Underdawgz in fourth; Zobel Dance Company in fifth; UPIS BLK in sixth, and the Adamson Cauldron Dance Company in seventh.

A special prize was awarded for a freestyle competition, which was won by Zion Wuxinyi of La Salle's seniors squad.
