The Minnesota Timberwolves announced they will be without forward Robert Covington and guards Derrick Rose and Jeff Teague for their final 11 games of the season.

Minnesota (32-39) was 9.5 games out of the final playoff spot in the Western Conference heading into Thursday night's game at the Charlotte Hornets.

Covington hasn't played since Dec. 31 and recently suffered a setback in his recovery from a right knee bone bruise. He averaged 13.3 points and 5.5 rebounds this season, split between Philadelphia and Minnesota, which acquired him as part of the Jimmy Butler trade.

Rose has missed the past four games because of a chip fracture and a loose body in his right elbow. He averaged 18.0 points and 4.3 assists in 51 games (13 starts).

Teague, having aggravated a left foot injury originally suffered in December, also has missed the past four games. He averaged 12.1 points and 8.2 assists in 42 games, starting all but one.
