Imus Bandera's Jayjay Helterbrand took to social media to reach out to local basketball fans amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Helterbrand, also known for his playing years with Barangay Ginebra, thanked the medical, military and police personnel who are actively helping to curb the spread of the covornavirus.
"To you guys, especially the front liners the ones helping those in need, I just wanna to first and foremost thank you for sacrifice and your bravery," he said.
He also called for everyone's cooperation regarding the community quarantine which bars people from leaving their homes in an effort to contain the virus.
"Sana po lahat lahat tayo magtulong tulong by staying inside and as well as washing our hands routinely. Makining tayo sa rules ng government natin for our own safety," said Helterbrand.
"I encourage everyone to pray and use this time to connect with our family as well as God."
