Allyn Bulanadi took charge late in the fourth quarter, helping Basilan Steel Jumbo Plastic defeat Bacoor City Strikers 84-76 in the MPBL Lakan Cup at Strike Gymnasium in Bacoor Saturday night.

Bulanadi fired 4-of-6 3-pointers in the payoff period, carrying Steel past fancied Strikers, who played without injured star Gab Banal.

Bulanadi finished with 35 points to go with 7 rebounds and 3 assists.

After Basilan took a 41-35 halftime lead, Strikers, paced by Chester Melencio, closed the gap midway through the fourth.

It was at this point where Bulanadi took over.

With the game tied at 71-all, Bulanadi buried 3 triples in a row to put the visitors on top for good.

Jay Collado added 18 points for Basilan, which will meet well-rested Davao Occidental Tigers in the South finals.

Melencio led Bacoor with 22 points.
