If you're a Golden State Warriors fan, the only thing running through your mind right now is, "Well, this sucks."

Tuesday (Wednesday, Manila time) started with news that Andrew Bogut, an underrated piece in the Warriors' championship run in 2015 and their record-breaking 73-9 campaign last season, is set to join archrivals the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Boston and San Antonio were among the teams supposedly in the running for Bogut, but Cleveland gives the Australian center a better chance of returning to the finals.

Or puts him in a much better position to troll and stick it to the team that traded him in the offseason. Whatever.

It's not as if this is just a novelty move by the Cavs. Bogut will give LeBron James a savvy, 7-foot rim protector who has good court vision and is one of the most, uhm, effective screeners in the league.

With sharp-shooter Kyle Korver finding comfort in the offense and the signing of playmaker Deron Williams, the Cavs have basically ticked off all the items on their must-acquire list to legitimize another run at the NBA finals.

While it was Christmas season in Cleveland, it was Depression Day in Golden State after Kevin Durant left the Washington Wizards game because of an injury.

Adrian Wojnarowski, premier NBA insider reporter for Yahoo Sports, sums up the awful news in two tweets.
