Facing off against her former team in De La Salle University, Soyud tallied 18 points on 13 attacks, three kill blocks, and two aces as the Lady Falcons pulled off a stunning 25-18, 15-25, 25-19, 25-22 upset of the defending champions.

It was also Soyud's second consecutive strong performance in the women's volleyball tournament after a shaky start to her campaign. She had a team-high 19 points during Adamson's five-set loss to Ateneo de Manila University last week.

Thanks in part to Soyud's efforts, the Lady Falcons now have a 3-3 win-loss record in the women's volleyball tournament heading into their showdown against University of the East next Sunday.
